BDP 630/650 is a bright, photostable far-red fluorophore with a high molar extinction coefficient and quantum yield. It has a relatively long excited-state lifetime, making this dye useful for fluorescence polarization analysis.
This derivative is BDP 630/650 ethyl ester and can be used to stain lipids and other lipophilic compounds.
