Fluorescence quenchers
DusQ are chromophores that used for fluorescence quenching. A range of DusQ quenchers (DusQ 1, DusQ 2, DusQ 3, DusQ 21) allows to match the valuable pair for all dyes in the green to far red emission spectrum to maximize their spectral overlap in dual labeled probes.
Thus quenchers are used for the specific detection of PCR products in TaqMan assays, genotyping with Molecular Beacons, in Scorpion probes system.
