BDP 630/650 is based on the borondipyrromethene core and is compatible with Cyanine5 filter sets. The dye features a high molar extinction coefficient, an outstanding quantum yield, and a relatively long lifetime of its excited state. Therefore, it can be used for two-photon fluorescence spectroscopy and fluorescence polarization assays.
