Набор QuDye^® dsDNA HS Rapid предназначен для быстрой и высокочувствительной количественной оценки двухцепочечной ДНК методом флуоресценции на флуориметре (например, QuReader 1, QuReader 8 и др.). Рабочий раствор красителя полностью готов к использованию, что значительно упрощает и ускоряет рабочий процесс. В набор входят готовый к применению рабочий раствор с флуоресцентным красителем (QuDye dsDNA HS Working solution,1×) и два стандарта ДНК (Quantitative standard, 0 нг/мкл и dsDNA Quantitative standard, 10 нг/мкл), обеспечивающих калибровку прибора в нужном диапазоне концентраций.

При смешивании с образцом краситель селективно связывается с двухцепочечной ДНК, не взаимодействуя с РНК, белками и другой примесью. Метод устойчив к загрязнениям. Наличие солей, свободных нуклеотидов, белков и детергентов не влияет на качество измерений.
