ATT 550 NHS ester is a water-soluble amine-reactive dye for labeling various amine-containing molecules in an aqueous phase without using any organic co-solvent. This product is beneficial for the labeling of peptides and proteins that denature in the presence of organic co-solvents, as well as for proteins with low solubility.

ATT 550 is a yellow-fluorescent Rhodamine 6G and Rhodamine B-related dye with high fluorescence quantum yield, strong thermal and photostability, and excellent water solubility. ATT 550 is a cationic dye. After coupling to a substrate, the dye carries a net electrical charge of +1.
