AF 647 amine is a reactive dye that contains an amino group. This reagent can be coupled with a variety of activated esters and other electrophilic reagents, for example, with EDC-activated carboxylic groups.

AF 647 is a bright, far-red-emitting fluorescent dye with high fluorescence quantum yield and photostability. AF 647 is a water-soluble, pH-insensitive dye.
