Azide-PEG2-amine is a bifunctional crosslinker with terminal azide and amino groups.

The amino group can be conjugated with a carboxyl group in peptides, proteins, or antibodies once the carboxyl group has been activated with carbodiimide (EDC). The terminal azide group readily reacts with various alkynes in click chemistry reactions.

Diethylene glycol (PEG2) is a short hydrophilic linker with minimal spatial separation of biomolecules in the resulting conjugate.
